Hannah Flowers was born in Tasmania, Australia in 1989.

She began tattooing in 2011. In 2017, she moved to London which gave her a good home base to travel to many countries and meet with and learn from many tattooers she’d long admired from afar.

Present, she has moved to the Scottish countryside which allows her to focus more on her oil painting and take refuge in some quieter pastimes such as gardening, bird watching and long forest walks.

For tattooing she regularly travel to various cities for guest spots rather than having a permanent work location.

Every detail in her work is crafted with care, using the finest quality pigments and materials while employing time-honoured techniques. Hannah prefers a hands-on, traditional approach, deliberately avoiding digital mediums and screens in favour of a more romantic, tactile process. Her passion for authentic craftsmanship infuses each piece with emotion and depth, capturing the complex interplay of beauty and dissonance that defines life.

Her tattoos and paintings are heavily inspired by golden age illustration, art nouveau, the pre-Raphaelites and classical oil painting. On skin, she finds that fusion ink comes the closest to matching the wide array of colours that can be made with oil paint.

Her subjects, despite often appearing compromised, exude a quiet power beneath their soft and feminine exterior.
