Job description

Morgan & Mallet is looking for a bilingual French / English House Manager (M/F) for a private high-end residence in Paris.
As the primary point of contact for the Family, you will ensure the smooth running of the household and the highest standards of service.

This role is suited to a hands-on, proactive professional, able to work alongside the team, coordinate staffand contractors, and maintain rigorous follow-up with a focus on quality and satisfaction. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and accountability.
Start date: as soon as possible – Permanent full-time (CDI) – Live-in.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the home.
Ultimately responsible for the House.
Deliver customized service standards to meet the Principal’s expectations.
Manage and organize the work of the household staff and provide hands on assistance when required.
Oversee and monitor/ check the functioning of the home technology(including advanced controls for security, BMS, Lighting, window treatments , HVAC etc).
Maintain care to the highest level of all furnishings, collectibles, and art.
Liaise with the other members of the family office & Assistants, Butlers, waiters, chefs, drivers, security, nannies etc.
Work closely with Maintenance Engineers to ensure smooth working of the property at all times.
Provide concierge service for visiting guests, including recreational activities and transportation arrangements.
Prepare and review Household budgets, invoices, inventories, and manuals.
Coordinate supply and grocery purchases.
Ensure the residence is constantly ready for visits at any moment.
Packing and unpacking for the principals & guests.
Respond to special requests and related duties as needed.
Provide cleaning schedule for housekeeping staff.
Review and inspect Housekeeper’s work and areas completed.
Review on a monthly / regular basis the functionalist of the Properties with the maintenance engineer or any other relevant person, provide report.
Ensure to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation to all rooms, including windows, floor treatments, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, care of upholstery, fabric, glass, leather, etc.
Careful attention to cleaning of paintings and antiques.
Ensure that the service all bedrooms and corridors is in line with cleaning schedule to include deep cleaning of bathrooms, equipping bathrooms with toiletries, towels, etc.
Regular running of taps during absences to clear pipes, attention to limescale, etc.
Ensure that the laundry is washes, ironed.
Stored implement procedure related to laundry complying with the needs of the visitors (separate family and staff laundry).
Implement process related to laundry that comply with visitors’ requirements and needs.
Check all rooms before and during the occupants stays to ensure they are consistently up to the standards and requirements expected by the occupants.
Manage and maintain the stocking levels of all consumables.
Cleaning all rooms, including windows, floor treatments, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, care of upholstery, fabric, glass, leather, etc., and careful attention to cleaning of paintings and antiques.
Service all bedrooms, rooms, and corridors in line with cleaning schedule and based on building cleaning planner (daily/ weekly/ monthly/ visit tasks) to include deep cleaning of bathrooms, equipping bathrooms with toiletries, towels, etc.
Upkeep of staffquarters.
Upkeep of Kitchen, kitchen equipment, cutlery, chinaware, linen, cooking utensils, etc.
Upkeep of laundry and machines, washing, ironing, storage.
Upkeep of cleanliness of plunge pools, steam room, sauna, spa rooms and gymnasium.
Regular checking / Functionality testing of televisions, satellite and all media, and heating and air-conditioning, and lighting etc.
Reporting to the Private Office all breakages, leaks, and maintenance and upkeep requirements and keeping an overview and monitor the work carried out to this end.
Liaise directly with site contractors.
Report and investigate any security and/or maintenance issues immediately.
Learn and know how to operate all the equipment at the Property.
