The renowned Belgian polar explorer and adventurer Dixie Dansercoer (58) has died during an expedition in Greenland, where he fell into a deep crevasse. His body has not yet been found, but the chance of him still being alive is non-existent. He undertook several expeditions to the Arctic and Antarctic. He is most famous for his journey in 1998 together with Alain Hubert.
