NYC pizza adventure! : My favorite pizza in New York City, feat. Julie Nolke

In case you aren't aware--New Yorkers love their pizza. And for good reason! Watch the video as I take Julie on an NYC pizza adventure!!

Medium thin (not as thin as Neopolitan style, not as thick as Chicago style) with a vibrant sauce that's slightly sweet and has an intense tomato flavor, topped with sparingly applied mozzarella, New York pizza is incredible.

When Julie Nolke, of the fantastic YouTube channel Feeling Peckish (   / julienolke  ) said she had never had New York City pizza before, I knew she was in for quite a treat. We decided it would be fun to bring along our cameras on this pizza tour, so that you all could join in our PIZZA ADVENTURE!

First thing's first, I took her to Grimaldi's, one of the most famous, classic pizza places in NYC, in Brooklyn's DUMBO neighborhood. We sat in beautiful Brooklyn Bridge Park to enjoy!

Then, I decided to show her the incredible pizza that's offered here, which is NOT a classic New York slice: Artichoke Basille's outstanding artichoke slice. On the thicker side, it actually tastes like a creamy artichoke dip was just spread on a pizza and put in the oven. We sat in The High Line to enjoy it!
