A big expose on all the horrors of the temple-mosque which destroyed the Mediation of the Supreme Court.
The dispute over Ram Janmabhoomi and Babri Masjid started with the arrival of the Mughals in 1528, when Babur's general Mirbaki built a mosque in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The place where it has been constructed is the birth place of Shri Ram, the deity of Hindus.
On 06 December 1992, fundamentalist forces demolished the Babri Masjid.
Since then, the matter has been hanging from the lower court to the Supreme Court till 2019.
On February 26, 2019, the Supreme Court took an initiative for out-of-court settlement on the issue of Ram Janmabhoomi and Babri Masjid and on March 08, 2019, the Supreme Court constituted a three-person panel for mediation.
The panel consists of former Supreme Court judge Justice F.M.I. Kalifulla was appointed as the chairman and Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and senior advocate Sriram Panchu were appointed members of this committee.
This team held several meetings from both Hindu and Muslim sides at Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University in UP and UP Bhawan in Delhi.
But despite the supervision of the Supreme Court, suddenly the mediation became a complete flop.
Behind the Scenes Reality of Arbitration Disputes:
Before and after the demolition of the Babri Masjid, several attempts were made to settle the Ayodhya case by mediation, including the case before the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court.
The New Delhi Post came to know that before the Supreme Court's decision, many such forces were active in the country which were obstructing the process of peace in the country.
The mediation efforts largely failed because the Hindu side was firm that "the temple will be the same" where the Babri Masjid stands.
Whereas the truth is that the majority on both sides was on the issue that this matter should be settled by mutual consent.
Immediately after the mediation failure, the New Delhi Post, in its investigation, spoke to the lower parties of Hindu-Muslim related to this matter in the Supreme Court, many shocking revelations were made.
1.Zufar Ahmad Farooqui (Chairman-UP-Sunni Central Waqf Board).
2. Zafaryab Jilani (Lawyer-Sunni Central Waqf Board-Convenor Babri Masjid Action Committee).
3. Champat Rai (General Secretary-Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, Vice President- Vishwa Hindu Parishad).
4 Abdul Khaliq (Muslim party).
5. Iqbal Ansari (Muslim party).
6. Hasbullah Khan (Muslim party).
7. Trilokinath Pandey (Next Friend of Shri Ram Lalla Virajman).
8. Dr. Ram Vilas Vedanti (Former MP and Member Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust).
9. Virendra Choubey (Retired judge and lawyer-Nirmohi Akhara).
In this entire conversation, the role of Sri-Shri Ravi Shankar, Zufar Ahmad Farooqui Zafaryab Jilani, Arshad Madani and Champat Rai in making mediation came to the fore, all these people failed the mediation for their political and personal interest, which resulted in the whole country. In AD, the gap of hatred between the followers of both the religions increased further and destroyed the joint culture of Ganga-Jamuna.
On 9 November 2019, the Supreme Court gave the disputed l2.77 acres of land to the Ram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra constituted under the Government of India.
On 05 August 2020, Prime Minister Modi laid the first foundation of the proposed Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
