Tony Knowles enjoyed a belated Crucible success in 2009 when he won a trial event for a new form of snooker called Super 6, involving just six reds. The draw was split into a junior and senior section with a one frame format. Knowles beat Dennis Taylor and Neal Foulds to reach the final, where he faced the winner of the junior section, Ross Muir.

Fondly remembered as snookers very own Casanova from the games heyday in the 1980's, Tony Knowles was also one of the most fluent and stylish players of his era as this collection of archive footage highlights.
