It's a symbolic journey. As the world looks on, the monks symbolize peace-- They are on a journey to inspire.
Inspire means to breathe life into.
In-Spirit -Spirit means life--your soul's breath--the breath of life- to fill the mind and heart with grace.
I feel inspired by the monk's journey, but I recognize it as a symbolic one. The monks are the symbol of peace, and the final destination (DC) is the symbol of war.
I'm reminded of The Wizard of Oz, but the monks already know the wizard is a fraud. Just like the one before that, and the one before that, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. Heck the monks even have Toto (Aloka) along for the journey!
DC is a symbol. It is the physical manifestation of a collective spirit-ual disease. It is the robber of souls.
The Irs (THEIRS) the Mecca of what is yours, is claimed to be theirs.
The monks are a symbol. Only we can reclaim what is ours. Breathe in. Reclaim your spirit. Find the peace within. It is the only way to find peace without.
