Your home is under attack by Coffee Soldiers and you know that you don’t have the means to fight them and you’re out numbered. Suddenly the clouds part and Ambassador Lucy, from the Tea Council descends from the sky on a brilliant beam of light as she had recently ascended to godhood. Her infinite love for the teacup citizens touches you, and she gives to you all gifts that will give you the power to fight back.

Our story takes place to the times before the three heroes defeated the great dark emperor Vuvu. We take a step back and look into the past and how the world plunged into a maelstrom of chaos. Clinging onto their last hope, a ray of light (Lucy) has guided them and provided gifts that will help them restore the world back to an era of peace and harmony in Eteareal.

Stream 1:
In this round, we interpreted “beauty” as a rippling water flowing beside lilies. Water can often be described as calm, elegant and flawless, and yet sometimes it can also be seen as a mysterious force that leaves you with a sense of sorrow. Aside from the water, we also incorporated lilies as a sign of beauty. In flower language, lilies are often associated with purity, refined beauty, modesty and passion. With these two elements combined, we truly hope to have portrayed what we believe these two symbols represent.

Stream 2:
We included Ree in our story to symbolize love, sorrow, despair and beauty. She sacrificed herself because she believed that the children bear the fate of destiny of saving humanity. Ripped apart and divided into two, Vuvu, Kotetsu, and xiao were taken away by the murder and Kurin, Lemon, and Haru went on their own separate paths. Through pain, sorrow, and anguish our heroes bloomed beautifully like that of a lily who would one day save Eteareal. Beauty is not only found in moments of happiness, but it is the strength to overcome hardships.

We picked the song “Sora wa takaku kaze wa utau” because of how the emotions of this song flow like water. It is smooth and calm, yet there are strong, coursing moments just like a river in nature.
