What the 30-day challenge was- I decided to start a walking challenge for 30 days. First, I identified what my main goal was for the challenge and why I wanted to do this.
Main goal: to move my body for 30 days and move past fear of injuring myself
How to accomplish this: start with 10 minutes a day and move up to 20 to 30 minutes a day
Barrers: weather, body cooperating, busy days

Midway checking- First 2 weeks I was sore and struggled with what time of day to walk. I got some brooks that helped with the walking pain and started to walk after dinner. Enjoyed time with my family walking during 4th of July. Also, store walking on days that I ran out of time.

Finishing challenge- Something switched around day 14, and I feel like walking is part of my weekly routine now. I thought walking would be the most challenging thing over the 30 days, but life was more challenging. Walking was a place that felt good and encouraging when I went on them. I was listening to my healthy habits affirmation which helped with changing my mindset.

Outcomes: sleeping better, mindset shift getting over fear of injury, weight stayed the same so I did not lose but more importantly I did not gain, my back pain went away, able to walk 20 minutes and last longer than normal throughout.

What’s next: I plan to continue walking and check back in 60 days to see how I am doing
