This is a never-before-seen hood vlog straight from the east side of Los Angeles. Not “East Los Angeles” the city—but the east side, where lines are real, history is deep, and respect matters. DC Baby Draco pulled up to the 97 East Coast Crips, and the young homies (YNs) showed real love by giving a full hood tour, trooping all through the set and breaking down how it really is on their side.
This wasn’t staged. This wasn’t scripted. This was raw, real, and organic.
From walking the blocks to politicking with the YNs, this vlog captures energy you don’t usually see on camera. The homies kept it respectful, showed structure, and made sure everything stayed solid while moving through the neighborhood. This is the kind of footage that doesn’t get released often because it requires trust.
We also shot a music video called “Positive Vibes”, showing a different side of the hood—creativity, unity, and focus. Even in environments people label as negative, there’s still art, ambition, and positivity coming from the youth.
At one point, the situation almost went south.
A car pulled up, and like anywhere in the streets, questions got asked—where you from? Tension was in the air for a moment. Cameras were rolling, eyes were locked in, and the energy shifted fast. Then it came out that the people pulling up were allies, and everything smoothed out. No chaos. No violence. Just real-time street awareness and communication.
Moments like that show the reality of moving through hoods—you can be cool one second, and the next second things can change. This vlog captures that balance without glorifying negativity.
