Penguin Random House’s owner is buying Simon & Schuster. The former big 6 are devolving into the big 4. Is this bad for the industry and us readers? Is this all about Amazon? Has capitalism done this to us? While publishing takes a step forward seeking to become more diverse is this putting us two steps backwards? Let me know what you think!
