The version of Kimba I grew up with, for better or for worse, the 1993 Canadian dub.

I've restored the notoriously bad video on this dub with the original Japanese DVD animation. This is episode 14, known as The Legend of Androcles, The Legend of the White Lion, or Journey Into Time.

I have such mixed feelings about this oddity of a dub.
On one hand, the scripts are nearly identical to the original Japanese, with the exception of name changes.
On the other hand, all of Isao Tomita's music has been removed, which was one of my favourite parts of the original. Additionally, the dubbers removed scenes of violence from every episode, disturbing story flow and sometimes logic.

My ideal dub of Kimba would use the script of this version and the music of the 1965 version.
