Shorter Shifts. This Barton Short Shifter with Round Handle will offer a 36% reduction in throw distance on your manual-equipped 2005 to 2010 Mustang GT. Reinforced bushings are an upgrade over the stock rubber bushings, making for positive and firm shifts that easily move from gate to gate at any RPM. This means better acceleration and a noticeable reduction in quarter mile time when racing down the drag strip. Equipped with a round handle, the Baron Short Shifter is designed to reuse the factory shift ball found on the stock shifter.

Proudly Made in the USA. The Barton Short Shifter is proudly made in the USA. This shifter is manufactured using premium grade 6061 T6 billet aluminum and 304 stainless steel, making it a tough piece that can easily handle the rigors of power shifting. The shifter is also equipped with hardened durometer bushings that deliver a firm and precise shift action compared to the stock shifter bushings. This is a complete kit that includes the shifter and the shift handle with a 12mm x 1.25mm thread pattern.

Bolt-on Installation. The Barton Short Shifter w/ Round Handle is a direct factory replacement for the stock shifter in your 2005 to 2010 Mustang GT equipped with the TR-3650 manual transmission. You will need a jack, jack stands or lift, a basic socket set, and a screwdriver to complete the job in approximately 1 hour.
