Скачать или смотреть Nearly 1,500 National Guard troops deployed to DC as Trump administration's DC takeover continues

7News has learned that more than 700, and counting, military police and guardsmen are being deployed to D.C. from other states.

President Donald Trump requested more National Guard members, and the governors of West Virginia, South Carolina, and Ohio are sending in hundreds of them. This is in addition to the more than 800 D.C. members who were already deployed earlier this week.

The White House said some guardsmen are not armed at this point, but could be. 7News has been tracking every step of the takeover.
