There are so many megaprojects like electrification of railways, high speed railway like bullet train, semi high speed train and other big projects are currently going on in railways in which Freight corridors are one. East west and north south dedicated freight corridors are helping Indian Railways in achieving some new heights like in the financial year 2022-23 Indian railway has loaded 512 MT of freight, surpassing the previous year’s record of 1418 MT. Similarly the revenue for this year also reached Rs 2.44 lakh crores which was Rs 1.91 lakh crores in the last financial year of 2021-22.
These projects will benefit Indian Railways in so many ways and will help in the completion of all the important things for the future. This will help in the future trains, and also will make a bright future for Indian Railways.
