Heatless Perm Rod Set on Natural Hair | Holiday Curls | Tia Kirby

Happy Holidays! Or should I say Merry Christmas to you all! In this video I show you how I achieve these gorgeous Heatless Holiday Curls on my Natural Hair. That's right... no heat needed to get fabulous curls. I have to say that this is THE BEST perm rod set that I have ever achieved.

I did this style on my natural hair after washing. I used all Mielle Organics products. The products used are Mielle Organics White Peony Leave In Conditioner, Mint Almond Oil, Honey & Ginger Styling Gel and Flexible Hold Edge Gel. To roll my hair I actually tuck the ends rolling then I wind the roller around to get more of a voluminous wavy styled curl like a "curly fry". Lol! Also, I rolled my hair in stacked sections to create a more voluminous and full look the hair.

After rolling my hair I tied it in the rollers under a satin scarf and let it air dry while I slept overnight. The next day after it was completely dry I took the rollers out and it looked as if I sat under the dryer. Using these products left my hair amazingly shiny, soft, bouncy and the perfect amount of hold!

Tools used for the style: Perm Rod rollers, Rat Tail Comb, Denman D3 Brush, Bobby Pins, & Satin Scarf.
