To facilitate the editing process in Davinci Resolve, you can conveniently add and clear in and out points. By doing so, you efficiently mark specific segments within your video footage. In just a few simple steps, you'll be able to master this technique within minutes.

To start, import your video into the media pool. Once imported, double-click on the video to open it in the source viewer. Taking control of the play head, navigate to the desired starting point. Here, you can press the 'I' key to add an in point. Proceed by moving the play head ahead and pressing 'O' to add an out point. If, at any point, you wish to remove these in and out points, simply select the "clear in and out" option from the mark menu or use the shortcut 'alt + x'.
