Who unbuckled the Amazon queen's zoster? Amazons | Hippolyta's Zoster | Admete | Two Heroes, One Zoster
Desire is the primal drive of life. When our desires are fulfilled, we develop a sense of happiness. Happiness is one of the most unreliable subjective feelings and is often fleeting. So, we seek the fulfillment of the next desire. If there is no desire, we create her. Violence, eroticism, and sadism are never absent from the menu of desires, and they are the most expensive dishes.
Amazons
Amazons (Ancient Greek: Ἀμαζόνες, Amazónes, singular Ἀμαζών, Amazōn; Latin Amāzon, -ŏnis) is probably from the Iranian "warrior" (*ha-mazan-). It may also derive from the Greek "manless" (n̥-mn̥gw-yō-nós [manless, without husbands]). The Amazonian women were called "the unwed, flesh-devouring Amazons" (Greek: …τὰς ἀνάνδρους κρεοβόρους τ᾽ Ἀμαζόνας). As the origin of these names suggests, Amazonian women warriors were valiant and warlike.

Myths: From Egypt to Greece
The earliest legends have Dionysus uniting with the Amazons against Cronus (Ancient Greek: Κρόνος, Romanized: Krónos; Latin: Cronus) and Titans (Ancient Greek: Τιτάν). In most myths, however, Dionysus had not yet been born when Zeus led the Olympian gods in battle against the Titan gods. But, in the clues, we can find that the myth of Dionysus fighting the Titan gods should be much earlier, probably originating in the ancient Egyptian period. Dionysus joined forces with Cronus to overthrow Ammon (Amon or Amun). Ammon was one of the most important principal gods of ancient Egypt, transcribed in Egyptian as ἰmn, meaning "the hidden one." Originally a local god in the region of Thebes (Arabic: طيبة; Ancient Greek: Θῆβαι, Thēbai), which was known to the ancient Egyptians as Waset, was an ancient Egyptian city located along the Nile about 800 kilometers (500 mi) south of the Mediterranean. Ammon's status rose as Thebes became the political center of Egypt, eventually becoming the nationally recognized "king of the gods" during the Middle Kingdom (c. 2133/2060 BC - 1786 BC) and the New Kingdom (c. 1570 - c. 1069 BC).

Hippolyta's Zoster
The beheading of the Minotaur by Theseus occurred around 1252 BC. In the same year, Eurystheus (Greek: Εὐρυσθεύς) gave Heracles (Ancient Greek: Ἡρακλῆς, Hēraklēs) the ninth mission: to retrieve the girdle of the Amazonian Queen, Hippolyta.
Ares, the god of war, mated with Harmonia (Ancient Greek: Ἁρμονία, "harmony", "agreement"), one of the Naiades (Greek: Ναϊάδες), and gave birth to the Amazons. He then crossed with the queen of the Amazons, his own daughter Otrera (Ancient Greek: Ὀτρήρη Otrērē), and gave birth to Hippolyta (or Hippolyte; Ancient Greek: Ἱππολύτη, Hippolytē). Hippolyta succeeded as queen of the Amazons, and her name means "she who unleashes the horses."

Admete
Admet was a priestess of the temple of Hera at Argos (Greek: Άργος). She later fled with the statue of Hera to the island of Samos (Greek: Σάμος). The Argives hired pirates to retrieve the idol. When the pirates obtained the idol, the ship carrying it did not move. So, the pirates tied the idol to a tree on the beach and sailed away. The Samians found the idol, and Admet purified it and reinstalled it in the temple of Samos. The Samians commemorated the festival on the same day every year, called Tonea.

Two Heroes, One Zoster
The legend of Hippolyta's girdle and the protagonist was replaced with Theseus. The plots are much the same. The only difference is that in the legend of Theseus, there is a happy love ending where Queen Hippolyta marries Theseus.
Another version has Theseus kidnapping the queen's sister Antiope to threaten the queen into giving up her girdle. Eventually, Hippolyta, or Antiope, bore Theseus a son, Hippolytus (Ancient Greek: Ἱππόλυτος, Romanized: Hippolutos).

Life begins and ends with eroticism. The ancient Greeks were never shy about eroticism, and Hippolyta's Zoster is itself an ode to conquering love. It's not so much a labor as a test of sexual prowess.
