As a follow-up to my previous Namco plug & play head-to-head (   • Pickup and Play SP - Namco Plug & Pla...  ), I thought, 'Why not compare two plug & plays I found somewhat recently?' Talk-up below these skip points:

For the this experiment, I threw in video of the arcade games played via MAME (an emulator). It isn't the best comparison, but I don't have a room full of refrigerator-sized single game machines (which would be awesome though I can see the argument that it could be wasteful).

Additionally, these plug & play games are most likely re-creations or emulated. My bet is they are re-creations. The black Retro Arcade Pac-Man plug & play fares better technically, but there are some sounds like those in Pole Position, the original Pac-Man, and New Rally-X that differ. I have not played the original Pole Position on an arcade machine ever so I can't say whether MAME is even doing a great job.
