Hail Caesar 2 - War Of The Roses Battle Report - The Battle For The King's Road.

The year is 1460. After defeating the Lancastrian forces outside of Chipping Norton, the Earl of Warwick and his Yorkist host advanced to London. Meanwhile, Somerset & Oxford rally their forces in the South, recruiting and training new men to make good their loses, before heading North and cutting the King’s road between London and Oxford, preventing new men and supplies arriving from the Yorkist strongholds in the Midlands. Hearing of this new threat to his rear, Edward Duke of York broke camp to give battle aiming to open up the King’s road and secure a decisive victory to support his claims.
