Join me as I draw a leaf from my house plant Calathea picturata, using Polychromos and Prismacolor coloured pencils. I will show you how to layer and blend coloured pencils to achieve a smooth finish. Drawings leaves is a great way to practice different layering and blending techniques and come in a variety of textures which makes them a unique challenge. I completed this leaf using only 13 different coloured pencils.

-Polychromos: Cadmium Yellow, Dark Cadmium Orange, Deep Scarlet Red, Magenta, Light Ultramarine, Emerald Green, Light Green, Burnt Ochre
-Prismacolor Premier: White, Peach, Goldenrod, Indigo Blue, Dark Green
