Hey, being a Dungeon Master can be hard. We want to be tough but fair. And we REALLY want to make the encounters interesting for our players because DUMB MONSTERS are Boring. Not everyone has as much practice as Matt Mercer or Chris Perkins in being a DM. Juggling story, players, individual enemies and plots can be lots to manage. Even more if you are disabled (physically or mentally) or if you are just starting to get into the game. We use our patented "Meta-Adjacent" technology to help you out. And you should run your monsters however you like. So long as you and the players are having a fun time, that is all that matters to us. But if you want to spice things up, try more strategy and have some more challenging encounters, then give our tips a try. You can use some, all, or none of our advice. Its up to you. Or if you simply want to not worry about monster tactics and use our tips as a script to make an encounter less work for you by all means do. We just want to make it easier for you to have a fun time playing and to get you into the game faster. And feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions about how to handle a particular monster.
