Space Race is the first major expansion for Surviving Mars. It focuses on expanding and improving the mechanics of mission sponsors further differentiating each playthrough. Each sponsor now has a unique vehicle, unique building and a set of optional objectives and rewards.
With Space Race the player will be able to start a game with several rival colonies also present on Mars. Each of these colonies is backed by a different sponsor and can compete with the player for Milestones and planetary anomalies.
