my PC is powered by a power strip that I shut off at night but somehow my keyboard would light up at night apparently with no power. turns out it was because of the pimax crystal cable. I had the black usb lead plugged into a charger and it is apparently feesing power to its other USB lead which was going through my unplugged PC and eventually lighting up my keyboard.
