I have had my Peloton for several years. I have certainly gone in spurts of using it and allowing it to collect dust, but I really think that it is a good piece of fitness equipment for me. What I love most about it are the instructors.

The Yesoul bike allows you to use the Peloton app and stream/connect with an HDMI cord to Youtube. I think that this is a solid alternative if the Peloton is not in your price range.

The Peloton is a better bike overall - it is heavier, has a touchscreen, and has an ease of connection that the yesoul lacks, but the yesoul is still a good bike.
I would absolutely add a new seat and bike pedals to the bike to ride it, I will include those on my linktree from Amazon.
