Adjusting to new hearing aids can be a roller coaster! And even more so for hearing parents who are helping their hard-of-hearing children adjust to new hearing aids. Here are some tips for hearing parents to help your child adjust to new hearing aids. In hindsight, I included a lot of things to "make sure" of. I just want to say ultimately, use discipline to keep your child's hearing aids in, and don't worry! Enjoy the journey and know that when your child's hearing aids are in, they can hear your voice, hear their name, and hear you say "I love you." I am so grateful my parents kept putting my hearing aids in again and again. If you know what I mean, you know what I mean.
