2020 Ford F250 Super Duty - Off Road Testing!

We decided to get the truck dirty and test the suspension and locking differentials. There was a steel hill climb with loose rock that was perfect for testing the front locker. Unfortunately, Ford has not changed the traction control system from the 2019 trucks.

The 2020 trucks saw the addition of “drive modes” including dirt/snow/slippery unfortunately the traction control system is completely disabled in “low range”. This is disappointing. Thankfully this truck has the factory rear e-locker (fully locking differential) and OX front air locker for full traction.

The other interesting thing is the transmission programming. While in “low range” the transmission is wouldn't upshift until nearly 4k RPM.
