Excellent makers, Alvey of Australia are famous for their sidecast fishing reels (among other things). Their designs are born out of the demands of the Australian fishing scene but have found keen converts all around the world. As you can see this Model 35 is a decent piece of kit. Alvey still make sidecast reels today.
