The collaboration with the Vancouver Pars National Ballet was a memorable experience for us and the audience. The concert featured a variety of traditional Iranian melodies, including the iconic “‌Baroon” performed, while the Vancouver Pars National Ballet added graceful and elegant dance movements, creating a mesmerizing performance. The beautiful and harmonious collaboration captivated the audience, which was a testament to the power of music and dance in bringing people together.

About Rastak
Rastak is one of the most well-known bands in Iranian contemporary folk music, which formed as an experimental music group in 1997. The group seeks to collect, record, and interpret Iranian folk music for a global audience, incorporating language, culture and history merging traditional instruments and forms with contemporary rhythms. Since the beginning, Rastak has been trying to combine the regional sounds that are well known with those that are less well known to shorten the generational gap and create a geographical bridge in the music of Iran.
