I was here four days ago when Accuweather promised a 100% dry day - I got soaked. Their forecast for today was showers so I booked a semi-open carriage - it turned out to be a glorious day!
The title will become self-explanatory early in the video.

Although I've visited this area many times over the years I've never made it all the way up the rocky and exposed route to Stanley Ghyll waterfall. At age 78 it occured to me that, if I don't do it today, I may never manage it. It was an effort but - I hope you'll agree - well worthwhile.

A thoroughly enjoyable, if somewhat unusual, day on La'al Ratty.
