Gauss's Law - Charged Plane Electric Field

Описание к видео Gauss's Law - Charged Plane Electric Field

The electric field of an infinitely large, thin plane of positive charges with uniform surface charge density is determined using Gauss’s law. The electric field is normal to and directed away from the plane and can be found by using a cylindrical Gaussian surface. The electric flux through the surface is found by adding the flux through the ends of the cylinder and the side, with the flux through the side being zero because the electric field lines do not pass through it. The electric field is then equal to the charge inside the Gaussian surface divided by the permittivity of free space. Want Lecture Notes? http://www.flippingphysics.com/gauss-...
