Five Rivers Cattle Feeding, LLC, acredita la operación de carne de vacuno más completa del país: Monfort of Colorado, Inc. Después de regresar de la Primera Guerra Mundial a fines de la década de 1920, Warren H. Monfort comenzó a cultivar al norte de Greeley, Colorado. En 1930, durante la Gran Durante su depresión, el Sr. Monfort se convirtió en un pionero en alimentación de calidad para el ganado y fue uno de los primeros en la industria en comenzar a proporcionar ganado alimentado con calidad a las plantas empacadoras durante todo el año.
