A young and promising girl Monika plans to launch her designer career in her homeland. Her boyfriend Linas helps her dreams come true. Linas is left to live with his grandmother, because his parents have emigrated to England. Monika's sister Ugnė is convinced that only abroad is the promised land where she can create perfect life, full of cash.Father of the girls (who is a writer) has lost his job and is disappointed with his country, and then he gets a good offer to work as a newspaper editor in London.Family has to move to the UK, it painfully affects destinies of Monika and Linas.
That fateful summer leaves a scar in Monika's heart with which she has to live for the
