Ukraine Antonov An-225 Mriya, the world's biggest plane has been destroyed in its hanger, during the Russian forces attack of Hostomel Airport, during Russia's invasion of the Ukraine.
The aircraft was in the hanger, where it was undergoing maintenance, which I'm sure that was the reason it was unable to take off before the Airport came under attack.
The short video I've created was taken when the Antonov last visited the UK to deliver cargo to RAF Brize Norton in 2021.
Let's hope the Antonov An-225 can be like the Phoenix, and rise from the ashes.
