When charges flow through a conductor — like a wire — we say that electric current is flowing.
विद्युत धारा किसी चालक (जैसे तार) में आवेशों के प्रवाह को कहते हैं।”

Formula → I = Q / t
Where,
I = Electric current (in ampere)
Q = Charge (in coulomb)
t = Time (in seconds)

Example: “If 10 coulombs of charge flow in 2 seconds, then current = 10/2 = 5 ampere.”

2️⃣ What is Electric Circuit? / विद्युत परिपथ क्या है?
“An electric circuit is a closed path through which current flows.
एक परिपथ वह बंद मार्ग है जिसमें से विद्युत धारा प्रवाहित होती है।”

“Circuit के मुख्य घटक हैं —

Cell or Battery (source of energy)

Conducting wires

Switch (to open or close the circuit)

Resistor or Bulb (load)”

“When all these are connected properly, current flows continuously in the circuit.”

3️⃣ Potential Difference / विभवांतर:
“Potential Difference is the driving force that makes the current flow.
यह वही ऊर्जा अंतर है जो इलेक्ट्रॉनों को धारा के रूप में प्रवाहित करता है।”

Formula → V = W / Q
Where,
V = Potential difference (Volt)
W = Work done (Joule)
Q = Charge (Coulomb)

4️⃣ Ohm’s Law (ओम का नियम):
“At constant temperature, current flowing through a conductor is directly proportional to the potential difference across it.”
यानि कि —
V ∝ I
Or, V = IR

Where R is resistance (in ohm Ω).

Example: “If voltage = 6V and current = 2A, then resistance R = V/I = 3 ohm.”

The bulb glows when you switch it on — because current flows in a closed circuit.

Mobile charger, fan, light — सब के अंदर यही principle काम करता है।
