The video shows an emergency repair technique for making a heat fusion connection on a PPR (polypropylene) pipe while the water is still on (without shutting off the main valve). A technician is installing a new valve onto a pipe fitting with a continuous water flow.

👉 Temporary Water Plug: A spherical plug with a thin string attached. The technician first inserts it into the outlet to temporarily reduce the water flow significantly, creating the necessary conditions for the heat fusion process. It doesn't create a perfect seal but turns a gushing stream into a manageable leak.

👉 Heat Fusion Welder: A specialized heating tool. It simultaneously heats the inner wall of the PPR fitting and the outer surface of the new valve's interface, melting the plastic.

👉 Live Heat Fusion: This is the critical step. After heating, the technician quickly removes the temporary plug and immediately inserts the valve with its molten interface into the equally molten pipe fitting.
