Pune Road Rage: ‘Overtake, Chase, Assault' What Happened In Pune Road Rage Incident? Victim Narrates Horror

A 27-year-old woman was brutally beaten up and left bleeding on the road in a case of road rage in Pune, Maharashtra. The incident took place on the Baner-Pashan Road in the city when the victim woman was travelling on a scooter with her two kids

Speaking about the incident, Victim Jerlyn recited the incident and said, “I was on my way to Baner and I wanted to have lunch with the two kids…I left from Hadapsar to Baner and I was just about the reach the Mahabaleshwar Chowk where this incident happened before when this uncle was blocking me and not letting me go anywhere…At a signal when I tried to have a dialogue with him saying why is he doing this, why are you driving like this, to which he very aggressively took his window down and started abusing…his overall body language was so aggressive and I figured that this guy is up to no good and I got the space and left…I saw a lady cop at the signal and I took my vehicle towards her assuring I would be safe…

this man came speeding and the kids behind me started screaming very loudly that he would knock us down, this guy just blocked me, got out of his car very furiously grabbed my t-shirt and punches me straight so many time that I got blank for 10 seconds…Later his wife came out from the passenger seat to find out what was going on and until that, I went back to my senses and saw that his hands were holding the door as if he was trying to flee off from the incident…

I saw that and without thinking twice I went to his passenger seat to grab his car keys…then his wife got on me and tried to pull me back by my hair then a lady who was trying to help me got us separated, Meanwhile the guy saw me that I took his car keys and tried to push me into a ‘nala’ somehow I got a grip and managed myself to get a hold on to my balance, Thankfully I had the keys and I gave to the cop nearby and then the people rush me to the hospital and took care of the kids…”
