Automate the process of adding common hardware with toolbox and smart fasteners in SOLIDWORKS Professional and Premium. Toolbox provides a comprehensive library of common hardware such as nuts and bolts in various sizes and standards. Components from the toolbox that are dragged into your assembly will automatically size and mate to your geometry, and final adjustments to the pitch and length are easy.

Smart Fasteners extends the functionality of Toolbox and adds entire fastener stacks intelligently to holes. The fastener size is extracted from the hole wizard/hole series feature or is simply calculated based on the geometry selected. Length updates automatically as geometry changes and as additional washers or nuts are added to the stack.
