Bigworms Ramp Build And Jam 2000 Harlow Town Park

After many years of hassling the Harlow council we managed to get them to trust us to build a ramp for public use in our local Town Park in Harlow, Essex, UK. Local skaters Reedy and Monk took on the job and killed it. Reedy was so dedicated he borrowed Mogee's camper and slept in it on site.
The night before the opening and skate jam some Gypsies moved on to the field near by and decided to graff the ramp with "Conners Boys" in 10ft wring haha.
Considering this was before Instagram and facebook so publicity was limited the opening day was rammed. Loads of Essex/Hertfordshire faces appeared and the ramp went down well. Mainline our local skater band played at midday on the bandstand 50ft away from the ramp as you can see in the middle of this vid.


These days this area is nothing but a load of bushes and shit flower beds. The memories generated from the days at Spurriers live on in our minds only.. At least we have the concrete park at the other side of the Park...
