Michael Hutchence (January 22, 1960 – November 22, 1997) was an Australian musician, singer, and songwriter, best known as the charismatic frontman of the rock band INXS. Hutchence was born in Sydney, Australia, and he played a crucial role in the success and popularity of INXS during the 1980s and 1990s.

INXS achieved international acclaim with a series of hit albums and singles, including "Need You Tonight," "New Sensation," "Devil Inside," and "Never Tear Us Apart."
