West System Epoxy 105 Resin and 207 Special Clear Hardener Part 2 of 3

Edit: Ignore the scale I show on the cup, I show the wrong one. Another way to mix by ratio is to pour resin into one cup with appropriate parts and pour hardener into a separate cup, then mix together. For our small jobs we find it more economical to use the pump system and avoid pouring too much that gets waste.

A little more information on West System Epoxy 105 Resin and 207 Special Clear Hardener. We use it on our 1953 wooden Alcort Sunfish ZIP to protect the wood and give her a nice bright finish. Since we store the boat out of direct sun when not in use we did not add varnish on top of the epoxy. If a boat were to have prolonged exposure to UV from the sun, then varnish should be applied over the epoxy to protect the epoxy.
