Final Visit to EnterTRAINment Junction ~ Worlds Largest G Scale Display Is Closing

UPDATE * 12/27/24 the layout has been purchased for a planned transportation museum in Chattanooga, Tennessee!


Unfortunately the Worlds Largest G Scale Train display will soon be no more. With no buyers found for the beloved EnterTRAINment Junction of West Chester, Ohio (Cincinnati area) and the owner retiring the building will be sold.

This has long been a yearly tradition to visit in our household and the news is very disappointing to hear. Not only is there a massive train display but a hobby shop, gift shop, cafe, Thomas The Tank Engine Museum, numerous railroad exhibits, party rental rooms and circus section with fun house mirrors and more occupy the building. All of this unfortunately will be closed and torn down as of 2025.

There was much anticipation and hope in the Model Railroading community a wealthy model train enthusiast would save this place for future generations to enjoy however, this sadly never happened. This video was very bittersweet for me to make. My family has always loved visiting here and so have many of my friends who also made yearly trips here with us. There really is nothing else like it in this region and this will be a huge loss to the local tourism, railroad history, model railroaders and the countless families alike who have visited over the years.
