Focus on the target? Or not! Recurve Bow Shooting Tips

This week Clay Hayes goes over something that's common to hear in traditional archery and recurve bow shooting forums and that's FOCUS! If you've spent much time researching how to shoot a recurve bow you'll most likely come across someone saying to focus on the spot you want to hit, or burn a hole in the target. It's a common phrase among archers, especially longbow and recurve shooters.

Although picking a spot, as opposed to shooting at an area, is very important, once that's done there's really no need to focus all our attention on that spot. For Clay, focusing on the shot process is the important part.
