Our flapping fairy wings project debuted in 2016 at the Labyrinth of Jareth Masquerade. We originally intended to create a tutorial to sell, however, we didn't get enough financial support to create a full tutorial and we were also wary of selling something with moving parts.
Due to recent events we've decided to simply release the material Jordan had put together already, and if you're experienced in building electronic parts it may very well be all the instruction you need to create your own flapping mechanism. I added more photos, a few more tips and put it all together into something that makes sense.
It's not complete enough for beginners though so we didn't want to call it a tutorial.

Jordan Price did all the coding and built the mechanism, and of course I did the wing panels design and fabrication as well as the cover for the motor.
The heavier motor, shown with the larger wings, is made a bit differently for larger wings and not the one we made the guide for.
