Halloween 2019: Global Calgary chats with 'Ferdinand' the mystical unicorn as costume goes viral

Global Calgary's Dallas Flexhaug and Leslie Horton were joined at the desk by Freddie Mercury and Ferdinand the mystical unicorn/meteorologist on Halloween to discuss their elaborate ensembles.

Earlier that morning, Global Calgary meteorologist Jordan Witzel showed up dressed up in a tight, white unicorn outfit, complete with hoof-hands, and no one on set could stop laughing as he tried to report the weather in character.

Witzel said he pieced the costume together with items he purchased from different costume shops across the city.
