CBS News, NY - John List (Feb 23, 1992)

This segment aired on CBS News, NY following the premiere broadcast of the TV Movie "Judgement Day: The John List Story."


Interviewees include Jean Syfert (sister to John's murdered wife Helen List), James Moran (Former Westfield, NJ Police chief) and Police Officer Charlie Haller (the first officer on the scene in 1971).


There's also film footage of List's second wife Delores Clark making a statement to reporters in addition to John List telling the court he was sorry for what happened but not responsible for his actions.


John List's 1971 crime is very reminiscent of the one committed by New Jersey's own Dr. Arthur Woolsey back in 1928.
