How Change Happens

Teach For America corps members spend two years teaching in public schools, where they have a profound impact on their students, even as they are themselves changed. At the end of their two years, some stay in the classroom, some take leadership roles in education, and others pursue diverse career paths—law, advocacy, medicine, technology, and more. But they remain their students’ advocates for life, committed to working to fix inequitable systems that prevent all kids from receiving an excellent education and achieving to their fullest potential.
