The BEST Travel Boom Pole: K-Tek KE-79CC Traveler Avalon Series

We recently purchased the K-Tek KE-79CC boom pole. For years we've used the K-Tek 89CC, which has been great, but we needed something smaller to fit in our new travel audio case, the Pelican 1605 Air.

While this boom pole does collapse to 20", we didn't feel like we sacrificed too much overall length once it was extended. The KE-79C should be just fine for most of our interview setups.

After a few weeks of use, so far, so good! We haven't noticed any issues with this boom pole and it's working well for our needs. Definitely check out the KE-79CC if you're looking for a smaller boom pole you can fit into your travel kit.
