Event Summary:
Water is one of the most vital resources for human survival, as it forms 70% of the human body and is essential for the proper functioning of organs, muscles, and even bones. While food is critical for nourishment, water is vital for hydration, regulating body temperature, and ensuring overall health. However, consuming borewell water, which is often laden with excessive minerals, heavy metals, and impurities, can do more harm than good. Prolonged intake of such water can lead to serious health issues, including kidney stones, joint problems, and even a reduction in bone density over time. This was the unfortunate reality faced by the students at Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS), Vikarabad.

With the unwavering support of the school’s principal and staff, who readily welcomed the initiative, a water filter was installed to provide the students with access to clean and safe drinking water. This marks an important step toward better health and hygiene for the school community.

This initiative ensures that every student now has access to clean, safe drinking water. The impact of this project extends beyond just providing purified water. It promises a healthier future for the students, freeing them from the risks of waterborne illnesses and enabling them to focus on their education and growth.


Budget Split:
Water Filter 100LPH + Fitting – Rs.21,000/-
Tank – Rs.1,600/-
Filters – Rs.500/-
Transportation fee – Rs.600/- (300/- sanctioned from Street Cause treasury)

Total Budget: Rs.23,400/-
