Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise Of The Dragons - Abobo/Linda Longplay

It's a tall order to follow the great Streets of Rage 4 and TMNT Shredder's Revenge. Does Double Dragon Gaiden Rise of the Dragons live up to those? Sadly, not quite. I was actually ok with the art style, but the combat is just too weird. These have to be the stubbiest punches/kicks in any beat em up that I've ever played. What was the rationale there? I couldn't get over that the entire game. You end up just using your special attack constantly to blow through the game. It's a shame, cuz I think there's a great game here somewhere, it's just that the bar has been raised...
